Fauré Requiem

Just FYI: I'm conducting a performance of the Requiem of Gabriel Fauré in Bowie April 7. The performance will be at 7:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church.

New Amazon.com Links

I'm trying a new feature from Amazon.com that parses the content of my web page and automatically inserts links to relevant products. I don't know how well this will work out. In theory, any such links will looks different from normal links because they'll have a dashed underscore. We'll see!

I Goofed

This morning, as we were happily on our way (with plenty of time) to Rockville UMC, I got a call from the organist, reminding me that time changed last night, and I had only seven minutes to get to the church before the service started. (It took twelve minutes.)

Oh well!

Pet Peeve

OK, Peeps, I've got my mini-rant on.

It gets under my skin when I'm trying to include multiple people in an e-mail conversation, but someone fails to hit "Reply All." In many cases I want to copy my better half on a conversation with a mutual friend, or on plans being made. But if the other person hits only "Reply," then I'll have to notice and forward the notes, as well as having to add Vicki back into the conversation when I hit "Reply to All" and notice that only one person is listed.

Summary: Pay attention to who (if anyone) was copied on the e-mails you receive. If you're happy to have them in the conversation, please use the "Reply All" button. That's what it's there for!

Rant over.
