Today I completed a transaction that has been pending for about four months: I bought a '91 Honda Civic CRX from some dear friends who found themselves in a position to do a kind deed. It has taken several weekends to fix it up to be able to pass the Maryland state safety inspection, but that finally happened yesterday, and this afternoon I completed the title and registration transfer and obtained new license plates.
The really good news is that Vicki will no longer be stuck at home without a car day after day, although the draw-back is that we now have fewer reasons for her to take me to work. <pout>
And the other great point, and the original motivation, is that I'm filling the little car with gas about twice a week, as I was with the van, but it's taking approximately one-third as much gasoline per fill-up.
